Thoughts

I was reading and article this morning called, “The Story of Worship”. The article details how God has sought true worshipers from the beginning of time. God still seeks true worshipers, those courageous enough to put aside their wants, needs, desires and plans to recognize who is in charge. Worship is a daily act of surrendering ourselves to God, an active way of life, not a once a week experience. We must actively, doggedly, make a choice to surrender ourselves each day. When we fail to recognize our vulnerability in this world and our position relative to the Creator of the universe we risk falling subject to a much worse fate than we could imagine, PRIDE. Let us keep our eyes firmly fixed on him who saved us from a certain fate.

Psalm 141:8  “But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign Lord; in you I take refuge-do not give me over to death.
